Chai Spice Apple Granola

Flavorful chai spice, decadent cacao and super mushrooms add an autum spin to this homemade Granola with delicious clusters of cashew and hazelnuts and apples. A fall favorite.

Ingredients:

2 cups of rolled oats

A handful of cashew nuts

A handful hazelnuts

A handful crushed linseeds 

A handful buckwheat 

A handful almonds

A handful sunflower seeds

2 tbsp of apple puree

2 tbsp of coconut oil (melted)

1 tbsp honey or maple sirup to sweeten

 

Chai spice mix: 

½ tsp cardamom 

½ tsp cinnamon 

¼ tsp nutmeg

¼ teaspoon ground ginger

1 tsp of The Immortal blend

A pinch of salt

 

Roughly chop the almonds, hazelnuts and cashew nuts. Mix all dry ingredients and add coconut oil, apple mousse, sweetener, and the chai spice mix. Bake for 20 min at 200 Celsius (stir every 5 min). 

The apple puree gives the granola a unique apple flavour that goes well with the spices. You can make it from scratch or buy at the bio market.
